IAVCEI ECR-Net Research Masterclass Series Part 2:
How to review a research paper
The second of the IAVCEI ECR-Net Research Masterclass Series is “How to review a research paper.” The peer-review process is a essential pillar of the scientific process, but it can be a mystery to many, especially for ECRs who may not have had the opportunity to formally review many research articles. Our experts, Dr Rebecca Neely and Prof. Karoly Nemeth, will outline the fundamentals of the scholarly review process, and guide you through how to conduct a fair and constructive review. Sign up below!
The 4-hour event will be hosted on Zoom on 10th September 2024, between 1100 and 1500 UTC. Register at the link below.

Introducing the IAVCEI ECR-Net Research Masterclass Series!
We will be hosting a four-part series of expert-led interactive workshops in 2023 and 2024, each one considering a different aspect of preparing, publishing, and publicising your research.
The goals of this Series are to demystify the scholarly publishing system and to provide advice and resources to facilitate your research. Workshops will be hosted virtually, and will each be split over two days. They are primarily aimed at Early Career Researchers across the IAVCEI community, who may not have much experience with various aspects of publishing and research communication.
